Hi, I’m Tara Lay and with my husband Peter we own and operate K9 Nanny Pet Services.

I’m in a beautiful rural location set in Minster on the Isle of Sheppey, Kent. We have over 1 1/2 acres of land for our doggie guests to relax and play in secure gardens. We offer a top quality service, individually catered to your pet’s needs and treat them with the greatest care like our own. 

After growing up with a variety of animals including dogs, horses, cats, chickens, a goat and a goose, our belief is pets should be treated as part of the family. 

After leaving school and working at Riding schools and competition yards, I then worked at kennels and with the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association. After starting a family, a more flexible job was needed, so K9 Nanny was created. What started as a hobby soon grew into a thriving business and we are very proud to be the only home boarders in Kent who hold a boarding license through Swale council.

Our business has been established 12 years and our fantastic reputation comes from being professional, but also friendly with a genuine love for our four-legged friends!

We are lucky to have Martin Routledge of Abbey Vets (662578) as our emergency vet, for added piece of mind and we are police checked and fully insured.
